Our agency has been in business for over 90 years. It was founded in Muskegon in 1924 by George Tuxbury. After World War II, Bob Tuxbury joined his father in the insurance business. Bob hired Bernie McKenzie in 1966 and David Price in 1971. After working in the agency for over 10 years, Bernie and David purchased the agency from Bob, renaming it McKenzie-Price Agency in 1981. David’s son, Andrew, started with the agency in 2002 and is now President of the company.

 

Currently the agency is an active participant in many community organizations such as The Muskegon Rotary Club, Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, Kids Food Basket, Parties in the Park and the United Way. We pride ourselves on the three core principles of our Agency: Stability, Integrity, and Community.
